St.Helens Mind

Who we are

St.Helens Mind is a local, voluntary organisation, working with local people who are isolated due to their mental health difficulties. We offer a Befriending Service to provide one to one support to people aged 18+ who are experiencing loneliness and isolation.

St.Helens Mind also has an amazing allotment, where members can enjoy the fresh air, maybe some exercise, company, friendship, support and fun, whilst learning and sharing skills.

Prior to the pandemic we had 15 popular and successful activities in the community, these had to close, and we are hoping that increased funding and support will enable us to open them once again.

We also signpost people to other relevant organisations for support.

Volunteers are vital to our work and are much valued. New volunteers are always needed to support local people who are facing difficulty due to mental illness.

St.Helens Mind is an independent local charity.

Money raised remains in St.Helensfor local people.
