Who we are
Bridges Project is a long-standing, independent local charity which provides a number of professional services to assist young people aged 14 years to 22 years to manage transitions into adulthood and life beyond school. Our services are designed and offered to respond to real need and are relevant and necessary. We work long-term with young people from a range of difficult circumstances and backgrounds to enable them to develop the skills, competencies and aptitudes to compete in the local labour market, progress to further education and training, manage independent living, develop social networks and become active and contributing members of their local communities. Our multi-disciplinary team is innovative and energetic in its delivery of tailored casework and extensive group activities and is led by an active Board of Trustees which puts young people at the centre of all that we do.
