Founded in 1991 by Reverend Lillian Frances, Walworth Golden Oldies has become a thriving social hub for older people at the heart of Camberwell. As a result the community is made up of many cultures but most prominently of those from an Afro-Carribean background.

Our charity is incredibly unique and over the years has grown into a community that has enriched the lives of many. Our focus is to provide a high standard of day care and support services to encourage our members to maintain healthy and productive lifestyles.

We know how important it is for people over 60 to have access to such a wide range of services which is why we organise activities and events such as:

Day trips to the theatre and museums

Skills workshops like cooking, arts, and gardening

Healthcare services like blood and weight checks

 Sports and excersize classes

 Christmas parties

 Free lunches

Donate today to help keep a friendly community together

Although small, Golden Oldies is a wonderful community deeply entrenched into the lives of members who have used our services to change their lives in the last three decades.
The charity had previously recieved funding from Southwark Council for a number of years but due to budget contraints and cuts it is no longer in receipt of this funding stream.
As a result, we have struggled to raise the necessary funds and we are now at a point where closure is imminent if we cannot secure funds soon.

By donating to this charity you are helping us keep a lively community of members active and improving the lives of older people who are in desperate need of
