The Scientific Exploration Society (SES) is a UK based charity (No 267410) that was founded in 1969 by Colonel John Blashford-Snell CBE and colleagues to inspire leadership and innovation through scientific exploration at the frontiers of human discovery. The SES leads, funds and supports scientific discovery, research and conservation in remote parts of the world offering knowledge, education and community aid. Whilst few areas of the world remain undiscovered, there is still much to learn and to be done in promoting sustainable economies, saving endangered species and offering community welfare in less developed countries.

Donations to the Society will help to maintain its commitment to community health and aid projects, support the SES Explorer Awards ‘Pioneers with Purpose’ seeking to inspire others through their scientific research and daring journeys and help with the overall running costs of the Society. Any donation received, small or big, would be gratefully received. If you are a UK resident and a UK taxpayer, you may also be  eligible to Gift Aid your donation, when the Society will benefit further.
