Hammersmith And Fulham Citizens Advice Bureaux Service
Who we are
Hammersmith and Fulham Citizens Advice Bureau (HFCAB) is an exciting and expanding Citizens Advice Bureau at the forefront of developing innovative service delivery models. It delivers multiple services (advice, library, financial capability) and is located in areas of high deprivation with a high demand for the service. As a member of the Citizens Advice Service, HFCAB provides Free, Independent, Confidential and Impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. It values diversity, promote equality and challenges discrimination.
Our Track Record: In 2012, HFCAB moved into Avonmore Library and became the first and only CAB in the country to deliver Library Services using volunteers. HFCAB's library volunteers won the Bi-Borough (Hammersmith and Fulham and Royal Borough Kensington & Chelsea) Star Awards for Volunteer Team. In May 2013 our financial capability volunteers were acknowledged with a Certificate of Achievement for Adult Learners' Week from the National Institute of Adult Continuing Education (NIACE). In 2014 HFCAB won the Citizens Advice National Award for Financial Skills for Life 2014.
