Lauderdale House, built in 1582 and the focus of Waterlow Park in North London, is a Grade 2* listed building and a rare example of a domestic merchant’s house of national heritage.

It runs as an arts and education centre with a vibrant arts, exhibition and participatory programme for people of all ages, classes and ethnicities. Through its outreach programme it provides an invaluable chance for children living in the most deprived parts of Camden to connect with and learn about their heritage and the environment in Waterlow Park. This is a place for everyone to experience art in a safe and welcoming environment and enjoy their heritage.

2013 is a critical time in Lauderdale House's history as it is in the middle of raising money to ensure its legacy continues, by transforming the facilities to make sure income is maximised therefore supporting the work it does for the community for decades to come.
