31/12/2020 100,000 Meals Appeal
Inspired by campaigns around the world, we launched our first 100,000 Meals Appeal in December. Our staff came together to raise money for charities focused on ending hunger across the globe – FareShare, Action for Children, the Greater Chicago Food Depository and SOS Children’s Villages Illinois. PHMG matched every pound and dollar raised, giving us a final donation of 174,853 meals.

After a year of pounding the pavement, Thomas Croft and Nicholas Moran have finally completed their epic challenge to run the vertical length of the USA. They both truly played their part for the PHMG Foundation, and really made a difference in 2020.
08/12/2020 The Global Toy Appeal
Our staff spread the joy during the festive season by taking part in our annual Toy Drive. Employees in the office and working from home donated toys to Camp Simcha in Manchester – a charity dedicated to sending gifts to children in local hospitals – and SOS Children’s Villages Illinois in Chicago to help make Christmas extra special for foster families.
06/12/2020 The Global Santa Dash
December 6th saw PHMG staff around the world come together to take part in our annual Global Santa Dash – and this year we hosted the event virtually for the first time. From Australia to the UK, and Canada to the USA, people donned their red suits to run a festive 5k as part of the fundraising for our 100,000 Meals Appeal.
12/09/2020 The Stadium Cycle Challenge
On Saturday September 12th, twelve brave members of the PHMG team completed an 80-mile round trip of the North West’s most iconic football stadiums, taking in Old Trafford, Etihad, Anfield and Goodison. Congratulations to everyone who rose to the challenge – you’ve all played your part and made a huge difference to the PHMG Foundation.
30/04/2020 Making strides in April
Across the month of April, PHMG’s Running Club laced up their trainers to take on a huge challenge for the PHMG Foundation. They collectively covered the distance from Land’s End to John O’Groats – an incredible total of 1,450km – and kept each other motivated throughout every mile.

On Sunday March 1st, five PHMG employees braved the brisk waters of Lake Michigan - 'freezing for a reason' at Chicago's Polar Plunge, all in support of the PHMG Foundation.
17/02/2020 International Book Giving Day
Friday 14th February was International Book Giving Day and the PHMG Creative teams took the lead - raiding their bookshelves, shopping online and heading all over town to pull together an incredible selection of books. Their donations will go directly to Cravenwood Primary School, helping aid the development of pupils aged 5-7.
30/01/2020 Food for thought
Members of the ABC and Dev team used their VTO days to help out FareShare – a Manchester-based charity focused on fighting hunger and tackling food waste. They spent the day picking and packing food donations from Tesco and Asda, and delivering them to Mustard Tree – a charity supporting those facing poverty and homelessness – as well as a range of local rehab centres who look after the vulnerable in our community.
19/01/2020 Volunteering at the Houston MarathonOur Texas based BDM, Eric Hunt, was up before dawn helping out at this year’s Houston Marathon, where over 30,000 people gathered to raise money for Kids’ Meals Inc – a charity dedicated to feeding thousands of hungry children.

Thank you to the PHMG staff who came together to raise £9,863/$13,316, which will be donated to help communities respond and recover from the Australian bush fires.

Our Copy team kindly gave back this Christmas by collecting food to donate to Fareshare - a charitable organisation working to combat food poverty and food waste.
15/12/2019 Eric Hunt Supports Toys for Tots
PHMG's Business Development Manager, Eric Hunt, once again demonstrated his commitment to giving back, and spent his evening volunteering with global foundation, Toys for Tots. Working alongside other volunteers, Eric worked tirelessly unloading trucks filled with over 20,000 toys, before sorting them into bags to be sent to those in the greatest need.

Our Chicago office got into the holiday spirit and raised an incredible $5,000 for the Greater Chicago Food Depository. The donations will go on to provide 15,000 hot meals for the hungry this holiday season.

PHMG’s Eric Hunt showed the ultimate in selfless support last weekend, as he volunteered his time at Houston’s Bubble Run event. Thousands of people made their way through a 5k course packed with bubbles, and Eric was there to make the whole day run smoothly. His support will go a long way to raising vital funds and awareness for The Make A Wish Foundation – a cause dedicated to making dreams come true.
03/11/2019 A sweet success for the PHMG Foundation
Members of PHMG’s Chicago office were delighted to get involved in America’s sweetest race on Sunday: The Hot Chocolate 5k and 15k in Grant Park. Each member of the team put their all into every kilometre – and their efforts were rewarded with a warming mug of hot chocolate at the finish line. We’re proud to say it was a day well spent for the team – as they raised $2,700 for the PHMG Foundation.
27/10/2019 A Charity Skydive
Sunday was a huge day for the PHMG Foundation as members of the Manchester office took on a truly breath-taking challenge. The team boarded a plane and ascended to a stomach-churning 15,000 feet, before skydiving to the ground below – all in the name of charity. Despite a few last minute nerves, we’re incredibly proud to say every volunteer bravely completed this monumental challenge, with all the funds raised going towards the PHMG Foundation.

Last Friday, PHMG’s Manchester Utd. Fans went head to head with The Rest of the World in the Latham-Steinson Cup – a charity football match held in memory of two beloved colleagues. Our staff turned out in droves to support this event, and helped us raise over £1,700 for Cancer Research UK and the PHMG Foundation. Thank you to everyone who made this such a special occasion.

PHMG was proud to lend a hand to SOS Children's Villages Illinois Harvest Day Celebration. Staff from across the globe helped the kids with all things coloring, play-dough, pumpkin painting and much more – doing everything we could to make this day the best it could be. The SOS staff were humbled and thankful for all of our efforts, and we can’t wait to get involved in the next one.
21/09/2019 The Peak District Challenge
Members of PHMG’s Client Support team took on all 8.5 miles of the Peak District Challenge this Saturday, aiming to test themselves and raise money for our chosen charities. Led by an enthusiastic Ernie the dog, they pushed themselves to the limit and finished strongly to raise a fantastic £1,280 for the PHMG Foundation.
29/09/2019 CrossFit Challenge
PHMG is a company that cares, and that commitment to giving back is one that runs throughout our entire staff. Last weekend Claire Harris and Kirsty McConnell completed a mammoth Cross-Fit challenge to raise money for the PHMG Foundation. A 1,000-metre run, 900 deadlifts, 800 air squats and 600 burpees made up only part of this huge challenge which raised an incredible £1,026 for our charities.
15/09/2019 The Drop
On Sunday September 15th, four teams of PHMG staff were blindfolded and dropped in unknown locations in the name of charity – each tasked with making their way back to Manchester. With no money or phones, they had to find creative ways of completing their journeys – and found that the public were more than happy to help with the challenge. 14/09/2019 NAMIWALKS: supporting our cause
NAMI is one of the PHMG Foundation’s chosen charities for 2019, so we couldn’t wait to take part in NAMIWALKS – the largest mental health fundraiser in America. On September 14th, Members of Chicago’s BDM and recruitment teams gathered in Jackson Park to complete a 5k walk of support – raising $1,050 for this truly special charity.
10/09/2019 PHMG at Tailgate Tuesday
As part of our continued support to our partner charities, PHMG’s Chicago office was thrilled to help out at SOS Children’s Village’s back to school celebration ‘Tailgate Tuesday’. We entertained the kids with a coloring station, yard games and a pop-up football field – and were even joined by Chicago Bears’ Akiem Hicks to make the day even more special. We can’t wait to get involved again next year.

Nine brave staff members from PHMG's Chicago office didn't let bad weather dampen their determination to take on the hair-raising skydiving challenge. On Saturday Septmeber 7th, they took to the skies once again, and threw themselves out of a plane, all in the name of charity. They raised an incredible $4,347.25 for the PHMG Foundation – so we'd like to give a massive thank you to both those who participated and donated.
07/09/2019 PHMG goes colour crazy
On Saturday September 7th, PHMG UK gathered at Manchester’s Heaton Park to take on the Color Run – the happiest race on the planet. Every one of our rainbow-covered participants completed five colourful kilometres, making their way through a burst of powder at each of the blue, green, yellow and pink checkpoints. And when they crossed the finish line, they were covered not only in paint, but in glory for doing their bit to support the PHMG Foundation.

The Scott Mission carries out vital work in the community, providing support for poor, homeless and vulnerable people. This Labour Day, members of PHMG’s Canadian team donated their time to help them make a real difference in the lives of others.
25/08/2019 Double the Challenge
Members of our Chicago office represented PHMG at last weekend’s duathlon event, when they took to the streets to cover a 23 mile distance in the name of charity. After completing the gruelling running and cycling challenge, the team were rewarded with a fundraising total of $3,780 for the PHMG Foundation.

On Saturday 24th August, members of our Manchester team were proud to volunteer their time at Manchester Pride. This huge event attracted thousands of people to the city, and our staff played their part in making sure the festival was safe and enjoyable for all.
17/08/2019 Peak performance for the PHMG Foundation
PHMG’s Data team spent Saturday 17th August tackling Kinder Scout – the highest point in the Peak District. They navigated 8.5 miles of steep inclines, areas of scrambling, and the 274 steps of Jacob’s Ladder to bring home £1,250 for the PHMG Foundation.

On Wednesday 7th August, we invited five soon-to-be graduates from SOS Children's Villages Illinois to spend a day at PHMG's Chicago's offices. Our staff had a great day spending time with the young people they raise money for.
28/07/2019 Conquering the Lakeshore trail
On Sunday July 28th, members of the Chicago office took to their bikes to cycle the incredible 18.5 mile length of Chicago's Lakeshore Trail. They battled the heat to complete this challenging ride – raising more than $570 for the PHMG Foundation.
11/07/2019 SOS Children's Village Graduation Day
Members from PHMG's Chicago office were in attendance as three age groups of kids had their graduation ceremonies. Thanks to the knowledge and confidence gained through the support of SOS Children's Village, many will be going to prestigious colleges to study subjects like Neuroscience and Theatre.
