Digestive Disorders Foundation (Suffolk)
Who we are
Each year in the UK digestive disorders such as stomach ulcers, colorectal cancer, liver cirrhosis and hepatitis affect more than four million people, resulting in 500,000 admissions to hospital and 60,000 deaths.
The Digestive Disorders Foundation (Suffolk) raise money in Suffolk to help Suffolk hospitals in the research, treatment, cure and prevention of these many painful disorders and diseases. We give grants to relevant medical staff to enable them to go on courses and buy books to help them keep abreast of developments in their specialised field.
About 92p in every pound we raise, goes to support the work of local health care teams in particular at the Ipswich Hospital.
Your donations will help improve the care of patients with these problems locally.
