Samaritans (Cheltenham and District Branch)
Who we are
Cheltenham & District Samaritans offer confidential emotional support to anyone in a crisis, feeling lonely, depressed, upset, or possibly thinking of ending their own life. We give those who contact us time and space to express their feelings, to help them to explore their options and perhaps seek a way to face the future. We listen, we do not judge and we do not offer advice.
We are not aligned to any religious or political persuasion.
Callers contact us by phone, or email or by visiting our centre. We are open every day.
In the year to 31st March 2019, we responded to a total of 23,056 contacts.
We also give emotional health talks in local schools and bussinesses.
All of our work is funded by donations from the public.
Unfortuately face to face meetings at our centre are not currently available.
