Who we are
Stonewall Housing provides housing, advice, care and support to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT+) people of all ages so they feel safe and secure and are able to achieve their full potential.
Help us to make a difference in 2018, help fund our 35th anniversary campaign Housing with Hope. Delivering safe spaces, and support for vulnerable people.
What we do:
We provide a voice for communities that are highly marginalised and frequently discriminated against. We advocate for vulnerable people, helping them to build resilience and the skills to live rich and rewarding lives. We campaign for them and influence the policies and practice that impact on LGBT+ rights. Our services include; supported housing, advice, advocacy, training, domestic abuse support, employment advice, and older people's housing.
Help us to do more
2018 is our 35th anniversary and over that time we've helped over 35,000 people to find safe and secure homes free from violence and abuse. Despite recent equalities legislation members of our communities continue to suffer. Help us to ensure no individual faces discrimination and isolation because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
£10 helps us give advice over the phone to someone facing eviction or rent arrears;£30 helps someone to escape violence by providing food and shelter, while our team works with them on longer term solutions;£50 can provide new bedding and towels for someone coming off the streets to live in our supported housing schemes;£100 can provide a 1-1 advocacy session for someone facing eviction as a result of their mental health needs.
