Peterborough Sight

Who we are

We are a registered charity dedicated to helping people with sight loss and their carers find the right level of support and maintain their quality of life. Isolation and loss of confidence often accompanies the trauma of losing sight. Through our activities, we aim to help individuals regain their confidence and feel less isolated so that they can take a more active part in the community.

Through their involvement with the Peterborough Sight (formerly Peterborough Association for the Blind), we believe that our members will become much better informed people, will meet many other people with sight loss, with whom they may share their problems and possibly become firm friends. Many of our volunteers have some degree of sight loss themselves so can provide first hand help and support.
