The Mason Trust
Who we are
The Mason Trust was established in 2008 to help young people living in Norfolk and Suffolk aged 12-25 raise their aspirations and help them achieve their potential. To date we have supported the ambitions of 14,000+ young people across the region by providing grant funding which has helped around 6,100 young people throughout the region. Our education programme has reached more than 9,700 students across Norfolk and Suffolk. At the forefront of this programme is our local careers information platform icanbea, which showcases the best opportunities the region has to offer young people and helping them make more informed choices about their future.
The following are quotes from young people that we have helped...
"This whole experience was truly life changing for me. It opened my eyes to the harsh reality of how hard it can be living in places such as Tanzania, but also gave me hope as I could see how well and effectively the clinic could run and the positive difference they were making by treating people early and making care accessible to all. I learnt alot clinically that will hopefully help me in my future career as a paramedic and I hope I made a small difference to the clinic and the children at the orphanage too. This would not have been possible without the help of your funding so thank you for all of your help." (student paramedic)
“For me The Mason Trust isn't like any other charitable organisation I've seen they aim to help young people around them, in absolutely any way they can. They were so supportive during my preparation for my expedition and I have seen first-hand the numerous young people and projects they have helped." (student)
