British Blind Sport

Who we are

British Blind Sport (BBS) is the only national sports charity specifically for visually impaired (VI) children and adults in the UK.

At BBS, we use the power of sport to change the lives of people with VI. We know that sport serves as a springboard towards greater opportunities, helping people with VI to lead more active and independent lives.

Since BBS was established in 1975, we have helped more than 100,000 people with VI to have the same opportunities as sighted people to aceess and enjoy sport and recreational activities.

BBS supports and encourages children and adults with visual impairments (VI) so they can participate in activities at all levels - from grassroots to the Paralympic Games.

Your donation will help BBS to give every visually impaired person in the UK the chance to get active, make new friends and achieve their ambitions.
