Who we are
We need your support to provide our school based assault prevention programmes that build safer communities for children.
CAP UK's mission is to keep children Safe, Strong and Free
Children talk to us about their lives and about the confidence they have gained from our classroom sessions. They remember they have the right to be safe, strong and free long after we have met them. With your help we can support schools and families and build on children’s strengths.
In 2018-19 we worked with nearly 15,000 children across Devon, Exeter, Plymouth and Torbay
Please help us to help more children learn how to stay Safe, Strong and Free this year.
CAP UK (Child Assault Prevention Project) is a community project in Devon that brings parents/carers, school staff and children together to understand how to effectively reduce children’s vulnerability to abuse.
We work with the whole school community, equipping children with skills and strategies necessary to stay safe from harm in an ever-changing society. We help children to grow up to be strong and confident young people, respecting their own and others’ rights.
In addition to helping children to learn how to stay safe we also work to equip the adults around them with the skills to support children with these difficult subjects.
