The Simon Trust
Who we are
Welcome to The Simon Trust's fund-raising page!
The Simon Trust is working with Surrey County Council to develop a former six acre site called Linden Farm, near Cranleigh in Surrey. Once completed it will provide a long-term home for 10 young adults with severe autism and complex needs, a much-needed facility in Surrey.
The Simon Trust has embarked on its challenge to raise £500,000 to help set up some of the many facilities on the site, including a horticulture area, a Therapy Garden, sports facilities and a Nature Trail within the lovely area of woodland. These excellent facilities will help to make the site a Centre of Excellence for autism provision in Surrey.
Building work has now started and should be finished in early 2019. The Care Provider has been appointed and they are now looking at staff recruitment and training, ready for the ten autistic residents to move in during spring/summer 2019.
The Simon Trust is applying to some large Trust Funds to provide part of this £500,000. But we are also extremely grateful for any smaller donations and volunteers to help with the fund-raising. Fun runs, bike rides, sponsored walks and other exciting challenges will be vital to spread the word and to help meet our target. Please see the Donate and Fundraising pages on our website for more details.
Thank you for supporting this worthy cause.
