Charity number

Horatio's Garden is a charity which creates beautifully designed gardens in NHS spinal injury centres. The gardens are designed by high profile garden designers to create incredible sanctuaries in the midst of NHS buildings.

The charity maintains the gardens and runs all sorts of events and activities for patients in the gardens. These include garden therapy, art, music and food - volunteers help in every aspect of the charity and work in collaboration with the spinal injury unit.

The charity is named after Horatio Chapple who came up with the original idea for the project but was killed at the age of 17 in Svalbard by a polar bear.
