RAMM: Connecting communities through culture

Over 150 years ago, the public rallied to create this remarkable museum. Since then, the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery has made a vital contribution to the quality of life and well-being for those living in Exeter, the region and beyond.

Now RAMM needs your help once more

Members of our community are turning to culture and creativity to keep calm, well and positive during these unsettling times. Although the museum doors remain closed for the time being, RAMM is working hard to meet these needs.

 Ways to stay connected

RAMM has increased its digital offering to give people the opportunity to learn, be creative and have fun with the collections from home.

As with many organisations, RAMM is losing vital income whilst in Covid-19 lockdown. We have had to cancel events for the foreseeable future and we are not able to generate income on-site.

If you have enjoyed engaging with our RAMM from Home campaign, or want to show your appreciation of this cultural hub, please consider the following:

-          Making a donation because you have enjoyed RAMM from Home

-          Making a donation in lieu of an event you would have attended

-          Making a donation with a refund received from a cancelled event

-          Explore RAMM’s online offering

-          Join RAMM Membership today for free

Donations made will go towards funding projects aimed at reuniting communities after lockdown and helping to sustain RAMM.

The Future

RAMM will carry on engaging with you and your families online during the lockdown.

We are already planning how to bring our communities back together at RAMM when the time is right. This will include projects that will benefit some of our most vulnerable.

If you would like to see communities reunited through culture, show your support today.

Thank you

We cannot wait to welcome you back on-site as soon as we are able to. Until then, stay safe, be kind, and remember that we are here for you.
