The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity
Who we are
The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity aka SuperJosh was set up in August 2013 by Josh and his Mum Dawn Fidler.
When Josh was three years old he was diagnosed with a brain tumour which, following chemotherapy and surgery, left with him with numerous disabilities and health complications.
After raising enough money to make the necessary adaptations to their home, Josh and Dawn started the charity to help others who had been diagnosed with a brain tumour, or who had suffered post-surgery disabilities.
From Christmas 2013 Dawn was told seven times in eight months her son only had 48 hours to live. Josh defied all odds, and turned 14 in August of 2014 but sadly died in November 2014.
Since then Dawn, their family and all the charities supporters have continued the work of the charity in his legacy helping other familes with direct help, support and financial assistance.
This is only possible thanks to all your amazing donations and fundraising, thank you to all our Thumbraisers across the country.... Team SuperJosh!
