Positive View Foundation
Who we are
Positive View Foundation changes the lives of disadvantaged young people living on inner-London's most deprived estates. With our strategic partners, we are committed to delivering projects that deliver life changing opportunites - leading young people back into education, onto further training and apprenticeships, and into work. The Programme is delivered in 3 stages. Stage 1: The Positive View 'Personal Development Project'. A 10 week course delivered on the estates by our trainers and professional volunteers. This project is unique in London - engaging and transforming young people's lives through film and photography. Stage 2: The Positive View 'Move-On Project'. Stage 1 finishers have the opportunity to be referred onto our training partners, Autograph ABP, where each will develop their future Personal Development Plan - including personal mentoring, community action planning, corporate visits and work based seminars. Stage 3: the final 'Work-Ready Programme'. Young people are able to participate in to our other training partner, the Rio Ferdinand Foundation's 6 week 'into work programme' which leads them onto further training or employment.
