St Laurence's Larder and Open Kitchen
Who we are
St Laurence's Larder provides a warm welcome and fresh food for those who struggle to make ends meet in our community and beyond.
Due to Covid we are operating a take away service only. The Larder is open to Guests on Thursdays from 10am to 1.30pm. Anyone in need can come without a referral.
We provide a takeaway meal and for those in even greater need, we can provide dried and tinned food for a few days to take away. We also support our local school with donations of food.
We are currently only able to operate a limited clothes bank but are providing those in need with warm coats, socks and shoes.
As soon as restrictions alloww we are aiming to resume our normal services including our community kitchen and shower facilities
People of all faiths, and none, are welcome.
It costs £1,000 a month to run the charity, despite generous donations from our supporters. We welcome donations of money, food and winter coats.
