Who we are

What we care about

We are passionate about removing barriers to learning and life, that dyslexia can bring. We want to promote unsung skills, champion new ways of approaching life. We give people the tools they need to learn in their own way. We train dedicated professionals to inspire people to love learning. We help parents to nurture their children and employers to support their staff.

Together we inspire people to believe in themselves, achieve their goals and succeed on their own terms.

Why your help matters

Working with people who learn differently is far from run of the mill. It’s a challenging and rewarding world where we meet new hurdles, every day.

Luckily, we’re expert hurdlers and educationalists! But we can't do it alone.

There is a constant demand to provide dyslexia support to those in financial difficulty who would not otherwise be able to access the help they need.  So it is support from fundraisers and donors like you who are the real dyslexia champions and will make the difference.

Together we can change the game when it comes to learning.

What we do

At Helen Arkell we offer dyslexia support and advice to anyone who may need it, whether they think they have dyslexia or care for someone who may have dyslexia.

We offer dyslexia assessments, consultations, specialist tuition (for children and adults), as well as providing high quality dyslexia training for teachers and TAs. And we don't stop there...we also support employees and employers in the workplace through assessment, skill support aand dyslexia awareness training.

We care.

We challenge convention.

We get results.

We are proud to be a place where "different" is extraordinary
