Please support DAGE TODAY!

We need your immediate help due to a funding shortfall and to keep our centre at 71 Deptford High Street, London SE8 4AA open for local pensioners to come out to.

Our facility stops an older person becoming isolated and lonely in being stuck at home.

We support an average of 50 older people a day Monday to Friday with free refreshments at our friendly high street pop-in centre and adjoining our charity shop.

We signpost all older people for the help they need to remain independent at home and in applying for entitlements they might otherwise miss out on.

£5 will help pay for their refreshments for a day, £10 for two days, and £25 for a week.

£50 could cover our basic running costs for a week and £200 for a month.

Our goal is £2,000 to aid us over 3 months with our full running costs such as monthly insurance instalments.

You can donate as a one-off or set up monthly donations via clicking on
"Make a donation".

What you donate to us is 100% of your funds because we paid the one-off set-up fee in 2017. This means we receive everything you donate plus if you are a UK taxpayer, confirm this in your donation and we will get 25p on top in every £1.00 you donate.

This is through Virgin Money Giving collecting this via Gift Aid from the Government.

This is unlike some other fundraising websites which actually take from your donation for themselves.

With your support DAGE will remain open, but without it,
we could all lose this
valuable community asset!

More indepth reasons to support
us continuing:

We provide assistance with seeking help and support from advice agencies and council departments such as occupational therapy to help maintain older people's independence at home.

We supervise elderly volunteers who befriend our otherwise isolated older users to our centre.

Plus our volunteers help out in our adjoining charity shop, helping customers and in sorting stock and carrying out light repairs.
