What we do

South Ayrshire Escape from Homelessness (SeAscape) is a charity providing support to people who are homeless or at threat of homeless in Ayrshire.

Our objectives are to relieve the need of homeless people or people in threat of homelessness as well as others in hardship or who are socially isolated and others in times of hardship.We provide one-to-one support in finding and keeping a home as well as support in accessing benefits and other help from local agencies.

We are the only local charity who provide a rent deposit guarantee scheme allowing them to negotiate a tenancy with a private landlord without paying a deposit; and providing advice and guidance to clients to assist them in obtaining economic and social stability. The charity stands as guarantor to allow our clients 12 months to pay the deposit gradually. We also provide a homeless support service and a befriending scheme
