Kickstart Kibera is a charity which is focused on providing children with an education to help them lift themselves out of poverty. The charities’ founder started going to Kibera back in 2011 to teach. She taught many children and was saddened by how difficult it was for the children around her to afford schooling. She has returned once or twice a year ever since and has gradually begun to sponsor children from Kibera to go to school. It started with one child and has increased to seven. There are currently three children in primary school and four children in secondary school
