Lamorna Village Hall
Homepage
The Lamorna Village Hall is a granite-built ex school house set in the heart of the Lamorna Valley in Cornwall. In the 1960s a group of enthusiastic people transformed the redundant village school into a community centre. The Hall offers a variety of events and classes throughout the year including talks, shows, art exhibitions and a community meeting point. It is still run entirely by enthusiastic volunteers from the local community. It is used as a polling station and refuge centre. The Hall is badly in need of renovation. Fund raising and grants now mean that the work can commence, however, more funding is needed to complete the project which includes creating modern and accessible toilet facilitates, levelling the floors for wheelchair access. replacing the old boiler with a new and more efficient one, improving lighting and upgrading the kitchen facilities. All donations received go directly to the renovation fund. Thank you for supporting our Hall.
