New Start Cat Rescue is a small independent charity based near Gloucester and run by volunteers.
We are a non-profit organisation and although based in Huntley, Gloucestershire, we cover a wide area in the West of England. This includes Gloucester, the Forest of Dean, Ross on Wye, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, Cotswolds, Stroud, Cirencester, Swindon, Ledbury and Malvern.
Our Aims are:
- To rescue and help unwanted cats and kittens of any age
- To find suitable homes for cats in our care and encourage responsible cat ownership
- To check new homes for suitabiility
- To give advice where required
- To promote microchipping of cats
- To encourage neutering of all cats and kittens
- To promote regular vaccination/worming programmes
- To neuter feral cats and find them homes as working cats
At New Start we believe that every cat deserves a loving home.
