The Alcohol And Drug Service
Who we are
The Alcohol & Drug Service works in partnership to support people affected by substance misuse to make positive change.
For over 30 years we’ve helped thousands of people in Humberside, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire on the road to recovery.
Individuals from every walk of life can struggle with alcohol or drug misuse. But it is not just them who are effected, it is also their families, communities, the NHS and our society that benefits when the cycle of addiction is broken. Recovery reduces the social, health, employment and economic costs of substance abuse.
If you know someone who is struggling with substance misuse, they are not alone. Right now, more than 1.1 million men and women are dependent on alcohol.
The decision to change and get help can be very difficult. The Alcohol & Drug Service supports people through this stage.
We’re funded by individual fundraising efforts, charitable grants and Public Health contracts.
Even though we’ve been transforming the lives of people affected by drugs or alcohol misuse for over 30 years, some people may not have heard of us. This is because we always work in partnership and often deliver our services which have their own names. Our services are also known as The East Riding Partnership (The East Riding), ASPIRE (Doncaster) Hull Primary Care Addictions Service (Hull).
But whatever the projects are called, we are focused on supporting people who want to make a positive change.
This is why the Alcohol & Drug Service is here. Thank you for supporting us
