Who we are
We’re working to reduce preventable and unnecessary blindness in Nepal. So far, we’ve helped hundreds of people to see again.
A painless, 10-minute procedure can restore someone’s sight. But in the world’s poorest countries, people are forced to suffer needlessly. The World Health Organisation estimates that 39 million people around the world suffer from blindness, with over 50% of avoidable cases caused by untreated cataracts.
In Nepal, only the privileged few can afford corrective eye surgery. Even buying a pair of glasses is out of most people’s reach.
Just £20 can give someone their sight back and change their life.
All donations will go towards the funding of Matrika Eye Foundation, in Birgunj, Nepal.
