This Sunday is DPGRDA Marathon Day

Like so many other charities we have had to close our doors to the people that need us most, respect social distancing provisions to keep our volunteers and helpers safe and cancel fundraising events.

On a day to day basis during this period of lockdown, our core team has worked so hard to care for the horses and ponies within the confines of safety and social distancing: keeping them fit and healthy and stimulated.

Not afraid of a challenge and always prepared to go an extra mile, the team has been inspired by the Save the UK Charities 2.6 campaign and come up with a neat fundraising idea:

This Sunday 26 April, our wonderful team of helpers who are looking after our horses and ponies at Digswell Place during lockdown will be completing its very own 26 mile marathon in our arena, to give the horses and themselves a bit of an extra work out and crucially to raise funds for the day to day upkeep of the equines.
