Mamie Martin Fund
Homepage
The Mamie Martin Fund supports the secondary education of girls in schools in North Malawi.
We were established in 1993 by the family and friends of Mamie Martin to advance the education of girls in secondary school in Northern Malawi. This year, 2021, we pay the fees of, and support 139 girls across six schools, including six girls in a school for Deaf children in Embangweni. We work with the CCAP, a Community Day Secondary School and with the RC Diocese of Karonga.
We are supported by voluntary donations and are also lucky enough to receive occasional grants from the Scottish Government and other agencies. But our day-to-day money comes from you, the public. Thanks for making our work possible, it changes lives in Malawi.
