Breaking Chains

Who we are

Breaking Chains
A collaborative force eradicating modern slavery through CARE (Collaboration, Awareness, Rescue and Education)

We Collaborate with charities, NGO's, governments, businesses and high profile influencers to raise Awareness for the cause to enable us to Rescue the victims where we can then Educate them and the public.

Breaking Chains was founded by Alana Stott along with her husband Dean Stott following their work with Heads Together, a mental health initiative set up by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke of Sussex. HT brought together a number of Mental Health charities and initiatives working across all fields of mental health harnessing the power of collaboration. During their work with Heads Together the Stott's raised a significant amount of funds by Dean completing an extreme feat of human endurance cycling from Argentine to Alaska (14,000 miles) breaking 2 world records in the process. Having an independant view of the collaboration allowed them to identify any hurdles and success as well as the waterfall effect of their work.

Following the success of working with the Heads Together campaign with the Royal Foundation, Breaking Chains will act as the umbrella organisation for the collaboration and manage the objectives of all involved, helping share ideas and initiatives and drive funding towards the initiatives proposed by each charity. Breaking Chains will be the point of contact and can drive things in the direction they need to go.

Our Ambassador Dean Stott will set off kayaking the rive Nile through some of the most porous regions oh human trafficking to becoming the first man to kayak the entire length of the Nile and provide the perfect springboard for The Breaking Chains Campaign.
