Exeter Foodbank

Who we are

Exeter Foodbank is a volunteer-centred charity with a big vision; to support local people in crisis and ensure that no one in our city goes hungry.

We offer short-term, emergency food for any local family or individual in crisis. We provide food parcels of non-perishable foods, which are designed to give people nutritionally-balanced meals for at least 3 days.

During the Covid-19 pandemic we have also begun to give fresh fruit, veg and bread to all families who need our help.

In 2019/20 Exeter Foodbank provided 9,024 food parcels; 3,048 of these went to local children.

This is an average of 173 parcels each week, which reflects an 18% increase over the previous year.

During the last year we have expanded our opening hours, the food given and the range of support that we offer.

We have employed an Advice Worker who works with clients with issues like debt, budgeting and benefits advice.

We are a busy charity who work hard to give the very best help to the clients that we can.

Thank you for your support.
