The wïsh centre is a safe community of support for young people in distress, many of whom may be self harming, anxious or depressed, or have experienced digital or sexual exploitation or peer abuse. We help them with one to one therapy, peer support groups, and targeted outreach work.

With levels of self harm having increased by 68% among girls aged 13 to 16 in just 3 years, the services we provide at the wïsh centre are needed more than ever.  An evaluation by the Centre for Mental Health found that we had an 81% recovery rate for self harm and that we reduced A&E visits for self harm by 95%.

The wïsh centre doesn’t get health funding and is solely reliant on grants and donations.  A donation from you, today, will help us to fund specialist therapeutic care and support so urgently needed to rebuild shattered young lives. Many victims who do not get support will be suicidal, self harm and find it hard to do the normal things in life such as going to school, having friends and dreaming of a positive future.

The wïsh centre is fighting injustice, violence and abuse. Your donation will make a BIG difference.
