Who we are

Citizens Advice Wokingham offers free, confidential, impartial and independent advice and information to anyone living or working in Wokingham borough. We are a local charity helping people across all 17 town and parish councils.

During the Coronavirus pandemic, our team have hugely stepped up to the plate, supporting over 119% more people from 1st March 2020 to 28th February 2021, compared to the year before. 6,167 individuals got our help during that year and we helped with a huge variety of issues. Helping people access essentials such as food and medication through linking them with other charities, but also our core advice areas. There was a huge 142% increase in employment queries, that our team had to respond to swiftly.

Our small team of staff and 73 volunteers are committed to giving high-quality client-centred advice and information and all have a commitment to equality and diversity.

We would be so grateful for your support!
