Citizens Advice New Forest

Who we are

The New Forest Citizens Advice Bureau is a small, local charity.
New Forest Citizens Advice Bureau aims to:
Provide the advice people need for the problems they face.
Improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives.
We provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. We value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination.
We have 135 volunteers and 17 paid staff working throughout the New Forest. Last year our advisers helped 8000 local people resolve their queries on issues surrounding their benefits, housing, debt, employment, health and relationships.

New Forest Citizens

Advice Bureau is part of a network of individual, local charities who are affiliated to the national Citizens Advice.  We have five offices in the New Forest in Hythe, Lymington, New Milton, Ringwood and Totton with an outreach service in FordingbridgC

Citizens Advice New Forest gives free, confidential and independent advice to people in communities throughout the New Forest.

We have fully trained advisers who can offer advice on a wide range of problems we all face at some point in our lives like employment, debt, consumer issues and housing.

We can all face problems that seem complicated or intimidating. At Citizens Advice we believe no one should have to face these problems without good quality, independent advice.

We offer advice online, over the phone and in person, for free.

When we say we're for everyone, we mean it. People rely on us because we're independent and totally impartial.

No one else sees so many people with so many different kinds of problems, and that gives us a unique insight into the challenges people are facing today. With the right evidence, we can show big organisations, from companies right up to government, how they can make things better for people.

That's why we are here: to give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward, whoever they are, and whatever their problem.
