CYO Colchester

CYO is a community of people working together to support young people in their pastoral and spiritual life in the schools and colleges of the Colchester area. We facilitate a range of projects that enable spiritual moral social and cultural development and contribute to the study of the Christian faith.

As well as delivering and supporting chaplaincy and student mentoring in over half the schools and colleges of the area we also help young people with confidence and life skills through a range of small group projects. We run Sanctum, our award winning reflective space, a new vocations resource for college students and we support those working in similar ways in primary schools.

We are funded mainly by the generosity of churches in Colchester and many individuals who support this work financially.
