Who we are

The Samuel Hardgrave Harlequin Ichthyosis Research Trust (SHHiRT) was set up in September 2010, and is the only UK registered charity dedicated solely to to improving the lives of those affected by Harlequin Ichthyosis.

Our goals are to raise awareness of Harlequin Ichthyosis; raise funds toward researching the disease, and support families who have been touched by it in some way.

We hope that by working toward these goals, we can ultimately help to improve the lives of those affected by the disease.
