The Frederick Ashton Foundation
Homepage
The Frederick Ashton Foundation exists to enrich the legacy and work of the distinguished English choreographer Sir Frederick Ashton (1904 - 88). A key objective is to develop the skills of those who will teach, coach and stage Ashton's ballets in the future. Other objectives - for the benefit of the wider public as well as the dance sector - are to compile and maintain an online Ashton Archive (including filmed material of interviews, masterclasses etc), encourage research and the publication of relevant material, and organise and arrange artistic, academic and other events promoting the Foundation's aims.
