Who we are
Anna was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) at four weeks. Cystic Fibrosis is one of the UKs most common, life-threatening, inherited diseases, that affects more than 8,000 people in the UK. Each week five babies are born with Cystic Fibrosis and two young lives are lost.
Since her diagnosis Anna has been on a seemingly never-ending routine of medication, nebulizers and physiotherapy, and in addition has been hospitalised on many occasions for two-week IV antibiotics.
Through it all Anna has remained a smiley, happy, independent little girl who will have to face many challenges throughout her life... she is our inspiration!
What is Annas Challenges?
Inspired by Anna we are raising money for children with Cystic Fibrosis in the Basingstoke area - and we would love your help!We are a charity dedicated to raising funds and awareness for children with Cystic Fibrosis in Basingstoke and surrounding areas that attend the North Hampshire Hospital.
Our goal is to support the children and their families by buying essential equipment that the CF team don't have the budget to buy. These items will help make the children's day to day lives a bit easier and hopefully in some cases, add some fun!
