Who we are
Ayrshire Samaritans receive no government or statutory funding – we are totally dependent on donations and fundraising activities to keep our branch open and continue supporting callers.
Our branch receives approximately 12,000 contacts a year from people who needed to talk, and more importantly, be listened to.
Fundraising for us
You could raise money for us by organising a fundraising event, such as a sponsored walk or Zumba session, holding a tea party, or even donating part of your profits from something you make and sell. No matter how you choose to raise funds for our branch, rest assured that all donations are greatly appreciated.
Businesses are also welcome to get involved with raising funds; things like hosting charity events, donating raffle prizes or sponsoring activities. Letting us have bag-packing days, for example, can help immensely.
If you'd like to discuss your fundraising ideas, to let us know what you're already doing, or to find out how to get the monies you’ve raised to us, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Making a donation
You can make a donation to us through this page!
Donations can also be made in a variety of other ways; at one of our awareness events, when we do a bag-pack at a local store, or remembering us in your will.
You don't have to be a Samaritan to raise money for us, but if you're interested in becoming a support or listening volunteer, please email email@example.com for more information.
