Brighton Festival Youth Choir

Who we are

Founded by Juliette Pochin in 2002, Brighton Festival Youth Choir is an SSAB mixed choir comprising boys and girls aged between 11 and 18 years. Most of BFYC’s performances take place in churches and concert halls with some of the world’s best orchestras and conductors. Performances include concerts and festivals in the U.K. and Europe, as well as recordings for CDs, film and radio. Our members are trained as singers and musicians, focusing on vocal and performance technique. They experience the broadest range of musical genres and styles including classic choral works, arrangements of jazz, spirituals, pop, folk and sacred music and they embrace the opportunity to work at the highest level of music-making.
