Cerebral Palsy Plus
Who we are
Cerebral Palsy Plus is a Bristol charity caring for and working with children and adults with Cerebral Palsy, their families and their carers. There is no cure for Cerebral Palsy and our aims are: to enhance the quality of life of those with Cerebral Palsy to enable them to live as independently as possible, to provide companionship for isolated disabled people in the community and direct support for families to help alleviate the pressures of caring for a family member with Cerebral Palsy at home. Our motto is “listening to individuals” and since established in 1960’s we have worked with thousands of people with Cerebral Palsy.
Our services are free to anyone with Cerebral Palsy living in Bristol, Sth Gloucestershire, Nth Somerset and Bath and are designed to meet the emotional and practical needs of our members by offering companionship, support and encouragement. This is achieved through a range of free services including impartial information and advice line, activity clubs, family trips to local attractions, one to one outreach support, help with form filling, hardship grants scheme, access to a holiday home which caters for disabled or just a friendly ear. We also support local organisations involved in the care and education of those with Cerebral Palsy.
