A national independent education charity, the Imagineering Foundation promotes science, engineering and technology to youngsters as a future career through fun handson activities and personal involvement in weekly Imagineering Clubs or special public Imagineering Fairs and events.
There are a number of worthwhile opportunities to support this charity including supporting the Clubs Through cash or by providing volunteer engineer tutors) to taking a stand at events to provide STEM activities for youngsters. Benefits include promoting engineering and technology (as well a one's own organisation) and opportunities for personal and professional development.
is a future looking charity supporting engineering, technology and the economy. An essential constituent of UK recovery will be to enable children to be creative, inventive and technically capable to support future wealth creating activities. Technology needs to be introduced to children to develop the correct understanding of design and manufacture with company involvement, inspiring children and families to technology and to highlight role models. The target child audience is aged 9yrs to14 yrs where intentions are formed and educational choices made. Young people also benefit from this as science-based education results in higher employment possibilities and advantageous pay.
