We are the registered UK charity set up to support KaisKids village in Cambodia.
Kais Kids was established in 2001 in the village of Kompong, Thom Province in Cambodia in response to the plight of the area’s homeless children and needy families
Kais Village Community was founded in an old farmhouse that was refurbished for 20 children and staff in Treng Trayoeung village on 7 hectares of land and today it has grown to a thriving community of modern buildings with over 50 children and comprises a school, a nursery for the youngest children, accommodation for the older children, a large kitchen & dining room and a medical centre. It is set on a working farm, which contributes substantially to the community’s needs
Kais Kids also provides outreach and support to the local HIV communities and work on sustainable farming.
Cambodia has transformed in remarkable ways in recent years after decades of conflict and KaisKids has contributed to the reduction in child mortality and child malnutrition rates but it remains a low-income, food-deficit country where nearly a third of the rural population lives below the poverty line. Nearly a quarter of all Cambodians are food-deprived and the health of young children and their families is still just as important
Children make up more than half of Cambodia’s population of 14 million so please support Kais Kids to help the children of Cambodia build a brighter future
We rely solely on the generosity of our donors to help us change the lives of the children in our care so every donation is highly appreciated and goes directly to assist Kais KiMANY MAN
