St Leonard's Church & Oakley Support Network

We are the Parish Church in Oakley, Hampshire

As a church we love to give generously in a response to who God is, and all that He has done.  He is the giver of life, salvation, forgiveness, freedom and so much more.  Our giving flows not out of obligation or law, but from a place of heartfelt gratitude and a deep commitment to fulfilling God’s dream in the earth.

In giving, we acknowledge that God is first place in our lives and that we want to partner with His mission.  Every gift given to Oakley with Wootton whether big or small, is helping the Church to reach the world locally, nationally and globally with the love of God.

God loved the world so much that He gave the most expensive gift of all, Jesus

The community organisations in Oakley have come together to respond to a wide variety of support needs resulting from the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19).

Oakley Parish Council, the Oakley Community Association, St Leonard's Church and Local Schools have built a Community Support Network of volunteers who will offer practical help to people who are self-isolating or struggling with other consequences of the pandemic.

There is a website www.oakley-village.com that gives more details about this project.

If you can support us with resources, we would love to receive donations for:

- Setting up the telephone and website infrastructure

- Supporting individuals and families in genuine hardship.

As a registered charity, St Leonard's Church is using its resources to manage the finances of the Oakley Support Network.

Thank you.

Revd Ben Kautzer, Rector of St. Leonard's
