Patchworking Against Poverty
Homepage
Providing poverty stricken areas within Kenya with the things they need most. And the best part...every penny gets spent by the charity directly on the projects being undertaken, this means no admin overheads and all our funds are spent directly on the ground in Kenya by our volunteers. Amongst others past projects have included buying books, food and painting Grace's Care Centre orphanage and treating the kids to pizza. Painting, tiling, providing vents, providing an ultra sound + probes, maternity bed, incinerator, providing water + septic tank, toilet and sink and a full x-ray facility to Wema Hospital in Kawangare slum, Nairobi. Hosting three medical camps in Kisii each year treating between 3000 and 4000 people within 6 days in 6 locations. The fifth medical camp is planned from March 2019, we are currently seeking volunteers and donations. Thank you for your support.
