The Portcullis Trust raises money to support LLDD (learning difficulties and disabilities) students at RACC (Richmond Adult Community College).

We help fund special training schemes for the LLDD students, and help those on low incomes with course fees.

In 2014 we donated £5k for direct support for students and £7k for a bursary for wellbeing related activities. In the prior year we drew down retained funds of £50K to fund state of the art access facilities in the new theatre at the college.

This year the Portcullis Trust will be raising funds to support a Celebration of Achievement for LLDD students in the summer, a cycling day and other activities not supported by present government funding.

RACC has a background of working with people with learning difficulties and disabilities with courses and qualifications for lip reading, skills for living and learning, skills for work and a new Working Model project, an enterprise for LLDD students.

The Portcullis Trust raises money through lectures, plant sales, a team competing in the Richmond Park Marathon in May and cycling events.
