Homepage

Raincatcher is an international development organisation that harnesses the enthusiasm, knowledge and skills of the UK's finest young minds.

We improve education about and access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene (WaSH) in the developing world.

We also inspire and develop people who want to make the world a better place, providing them with the opportunity to use their individual skills to do so.

Our Approach

Raincatcher works as an umbrella organisation providing opportunities for every Raincatcher branch to conceive and achieve their own WASH based project.

This layered approach allows for development to take place on two levels:

  1. International - in the traditional sense of supporting poorer sections of the global society e.g. building underground water tanks in rural Tanzania
  2. Personal - we provide opportunity for students to develop themselves via structured projects e.g. organising and overseeing a development project

We hope that you will join us in our aims.

Raincatcher activity mostly happens at Imperial College London - keep up to date on their instagram.
