We support people with mental health problems across the Bradford district to move forward in their recovery and live independent, fulfilling lives. Bradford is one of the most deprived districts in the UK and many of the people we work with suffer from multiple disadvantage in their lives. There are estimated to be over 100,000 people experiencing mental health problems in the district. We offer a unique, non-clinical, peer-led mental health service to adults with a wide range of mental health problems.

Our Pathways to Employment team help adults with moderate to severe, and/or enduring mental health problems who want to work towards a specific goal such as education, training, voluntary or paid work. They help people who are out of work and people who are in work but on sick leave who need support to return to work. We also offer a free, specialist support group for people managing their mental health at work. Our Haven Crisis Support team help people over 18 who are in severe mental distress or crisis. This service is open 365 days a year from 10am – 6pm. Our Telehealth team provides guided self-help telephone appointments.  The service offers evening and weekend support at the other end of the telephone, with experienced wellbeing coaches on hand to give guidance and help to those in need.
