Threshold is a Swindon based charity for single homeless people providing quality caring services and supportive hostel accommodation with resettlement programmes.

Our mission is:

To improve homeless people’s lives by giving responsibility back to the individual for their own rehabilitation - and provide them the opportunity to attain the life skills needed for long term independent living.

We support over 750 people each year. We do this through our street outreach service which helps those sleeping on the streets; a twenty bed direct access hostel; three move-on resettlement hostels for men; a resettlement hostel for women; a substance misuse resettlement hostel; a resettlement hostels for young people aged between 16 and 21 years of age and a longer term home for older homeless men. Our rent management scheme assists homeless people to access reputable landlords and accommodation, supporting then for up to 6 months in the community. Welcoming vulnerable homeless people into our projects is only part of our role; preparing them to live independently is just as important

Our sources of income are grants from government and charitable foundations and trusts and licence fee income. However, we also rely upon the continued generosity of members of the public and our supporters.

Please help us continue to give homeless people the chance to change.
